Help with ID numbers

Last summer I picked up an early 1973 4430 open station for haying use. Served my limited use perfectly.

Time for some service activities, I'd like to pickup a book for it, and want to make sure I get the right editions.

The number on the plate on the rear of the tractor says 4430H 010338R. The plate on the side of the motor says 6404TR09 357975R. There were questions raised when I posted a few pictures as to why a 4430 had an intercooler on the motor. It was there when I bought it. Does this sound like a different motor has been installed, maybe from a larger tractor?

Thanks for any help and direction.

Your tractor could have been re-engined... or it could have had an intercooler installed at some point. I'm sure there is a way to determine from the engine serial number which scenario is correct, but I'm
not sure what it is!
