JD 650 loader help

A fellow at work stopped me to ask some help, he bought a Deere 650 compact tractor with fairly low hours. He wants to add a front-end loader, and has purchased an aftermarket unit. He does not have clear instructions on how and where to hook the hydraulics for the loader, and is not real tractor-savvy. The best I could get from him, he does not have remote SCVs on the rear nor in the center of the tractor. There is no joystick on the tractor, but two control valves on the loader itself.

It sounds to me like he needs to tap into the hydraulic supply and return to route to the valves on the loader itself. I have looked at he JD Parts site at the expanded drawings, but most seem to show the in/out ports for a tractor with remote SCVs already.

Any help that I can send him as to where to tap in for supply and return? I know some units have the return near the filter housing for faster flow, but I am not familiar with these imported models.

Thanks in advance, sorry for the lack of solid information.

i think he is going to be very dissapointed with a front end loader on that tractor. i had one once. used it with a belly mower. he will need lots of wgt on the rear end for ballast.
