3020 High crop

There is a 3020 highcrop on auction close to me. Its a diesel with locked up motor and powershift. Are theses worth much?
 
I don't know the value but 3020 engines are rare,,,and I may Have a 1966 3020 Diesel engine for sale soon...making the deal now...just saying... the engine in this High crop could be rebuilt,,crank shafts are available,,blocks are not...

Yes! Think one sold in auction recently for around 25k.
 
Depending on year there were only 402 diesel Hi-Crop diesels made from 64/68. The powershift number isn't known but would be low making it a rare tractorIf it is a side counsel there were only 96 diesel total with only one gas total.The gas would be one of the rarest along with 64/68[1 made]and 2520gas[1 made].The Hi-Crops are collectable. Not everybody likes them due to they are only basically for show. A 2520 power shift row crop or 4000 P.S.would probably out sell them.

LOL, the heavy duty Coffers I have will reach that high, but I’d probably want scaffolding around the thing just to keep the climbing to a reasonable amount.
 
Tim what are you thinking price wise on the 3020 engine. I got a gas tractor here that we bought to part out but it is plenty nice to do that to it so I might be interested in your engine. Tom
 
I haven't got it home yet...want to see if it will run,,the tractor is very ugly,,and has set a while but is not locked up...I will know more in a week or so...
 
I have a friend who has a 3020 diesel the motor is very good and the tractor runs good, has fenders,3 pt,front weights rear weights, good sheet metal,16-9-34 rear tires not matching, his priced it at 6200 email is open. it will need some rewiring and the hydraulic pump takes awhile, not bad but could use attention.
 
If engine and trans are questionable you could easily spend more than its worth. I buy and sell a few tractors and prefer they drive on trailer.
