730 gas question

If you were going to replace the intake and exhaust manifolds on a 730 gas. Would you use the gas or lp manifolds on it??? Thank you

Are you building a pulling tractor or a working tractor? If it needs to run in cold weather I would definitely use gasoline manifolds on a gasoline engine.

I agree that a puller should have LP manifolds.
However, where Rick lives in the mid-south, cold weather isn't a problem, hot weather is.
I've had LP manifolds on my sixty and my seventy JD's for over ten years, with zero problems.
If the tractor lived in Minnesota for example, I agree with the one piece gasoline manifold.
JD dealers in the mid south and south usually set the hot/cold thing on gasoline manifolds
to the cold setting, and it stayed there the rest of its life.

I'm in Ohio and I still do not think many bothered to switch those manifolds around here. I don't remember seeing any that looked like you could even move them due to being all rusty.
