I got my starter took apart to see why its dragging and found my bushings is shot. Where is the best place to get parts for Delco other than mother Deere?

You can download the parts catalog (.pdf format) for FREE at the official DEERE link below.

Armed with the Delco number on the starter tag you can then find the Delco part number for the bushings. (The DEERE parts system recognizes the Delco numbers.)

You can then price them at DEERE, or use the Delco number to search the 'net for "cheap" ones, if that suits your fancy.

Your starter is a Delco 1108950. I have new drives, bushings and brushes if you need them. I just finished rebuilding the same starter.

I had the starter from a war time A brought to me, it had been at two shops before me, a couple of the parts were coming up NLA. Guess who had the brush holder spring and bushing? Deere.

Randy how can I get ahold of you. The previous owner been in the started and has new brushes in but the bushings are wore out. Ive had the tractor 4 years and the starter works but makes a noise and turns over slow. I figured I tear into it to check it out. What all you think I need for it? I plan on putting on a new bendix and switch . The brushes are good and im going to check the armature.

Don't know anyone would be afraid to check Deeres price. Last time I looked brushes and bushings were dirt cheap there. Course you can pick up bushings at tsc or napa.
