John Deere B rollomatic troubleshooting

Hello, I restored my John Deere B, and I put new front tires on it, and I have been noticing that my tires are wearing bad on the outsides, more than the normal amount. I also notice black marks left on pavement when I drive. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the adjustment of the front end or something, and if there is any way to adjust them. Any information is appreciated. Thanks

Basically, the design was never intended for pavement, however I've had several of these and they will wear the outside of the tread which is angled. They will try to whet it flat. The rib is edged at an angle to contact soft ground.

I know they are supposed to be towed in a little bit, but mine seems like the front is towed in too, not just the bottom, and it seems the tires almost scoot across the ground. My family has 5 others with rollomatics, but none of the others seem to do that. I just wondered if there was any adjustments that could be made

That is kind of what I figured, but I thought I would get someone elses opinion on it. Thanks for your time, I will have to do some more investigating.

If you take it apart, you might be able to add some shims, but it may well be that the Bushings (Bearings) are badly worn...

If you run one front tire onto a 4" block, the other will be off the ground..then you can check it for excessive wear/play..

I had trouble with front wheel shimmy and tire wear on my JD 50. I found that one of the rollomatic arms was bent. Replaced the bent arm and all was fine.

The rollarmatic has bushing....bearing are cone type. Maybe you're bearing are loose allowing the wheels to turn inward or possibly the shafts are bent, bushing worn...never heard of your exact problem....I'd pull one of the other tractor to the side of this one and compare...raise them up and check for play...possibly pull the hubs and see if shafts are bent or have excessive play....I suppose bushing and gear wear may allow the wheels to tow in like you're describing.....
