jd 730 d pony motor plugs

Merry Christmas All! Could some one please help me choose replacement plugs for the starting motor on my 730D? It currently has champion j12c plugs. I have had excellent results with autolite plugs, but am having difficulty finding a cross reference. THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE! HAPPY

I use Champion J8C's (long plug) or Champion J17LM's (short plug). The short ones make it easier to connect the spark plug boots on the two plugs behind the dash console.

The 216 and 437 work however they are 7/16" long threads and don't exert all the way into the combustion chamber. 275 or 2656 are 1/2" deep threads .3/4" deep threads are 398 or 399 but iirc are too long for starting engines .
J8C are only 3/8" and don't thread near to the bottom of the cylinder head threads.

I used AC 45M plugs as recommended by Deere in PC532. I ordered them special from NAPA. I had to order a box of 8. I still have 4 left, and no more pony motors. They worked good and never fouled.
