Gear removal

I sold a set of first reduction gears . To save shipping weight I'll remove them . What's the best way to remove these ? The center is bad on the big one , I could just cut that if it's easier .

You can remove the one from the clutch with a big puller and some heat. The big one I question the value of if the center is bad and if you try to get the gear portion off. You still have to get it back on the other one and make it hold.
When we do a weight reductio0n on them, we rivet a big "washer" that holds the gear to the center. Welding doesn't seem to hold up as your welding cast to steel. Don't know what you got for them but for the extra work involved to make it over, I would find a gear that was in better shape.
