Might be buying a big brother to my 3020.

So I came across a deal on an old 4020 that has been sitting for over a year. Of course the batteries were dead, when I got there so I couldnt get it to turn over even trying to boost it.

Long story short I made a deal with the guy that I would take it home and see if I can get it to crank and move. If I can then the deal is done, but until I do no money changes hands. My goal is to put some new wires on it as they are all corroded, then put my batteries from the 3020 in it and get it running. After it runs and moves it needs a ROPS, a new seat some battery boxes, all fluids and filters and maybe tires in another year or two. The year on it appears to be a 67, unfortunately its a syncro and I would prefer the powershift but if I can get it started I cant beat the price.

So its sitting outside and this week I plan on diving into it. Already drained the fuel out, the radiator is empty already. Appears to be leaking in the usual places for hydro and the oil bath looks like it was over full. Anyway I will post some pictures later along with some updates.

Just to hear engine run I'd suggest to tow start it. One can tow start it with bad batteries & bad wiring provided there's fuel supply at inj pump.

Hey Jim, long time no talk. Unfortunately I don't have help to tow start, and it wont steer without running. I have the old wires for my 3020 before I change over to 12v. I'll move those over instead of making new cables for a 24v that I will do away with.
