Need carb work on JD riding mower

I have a LT 180 JD mower i'm having carb trouble with, can these be rebuilt or should i buy a new one, I had the local JD dealer look at it but it's no better so my question is to get a kit or buy new and be done, I bought the mower new and has only 250 hours so I guess I'm another victim of bad gas, I use stabil in my gas but I guess I need to run it more often

If it will run go to TSC and buy a bottle of Mechanic in a bottle. It's in the mower parts section. Drain your old gas and dump the bottle in a fresh tank full. Run it full throttle while mowing for an hour or two. That's all it takes to clear mine up.
