Spotted a 2510 gas for sale. It's got some flaws but thought if it was cheap enough it would be fun to fix up. It's been sitting outside at least 5 months now, that I've seen it, with no rain cap on the muffler. I'm not familiar with this model. Does the exhaust pipe have an elbow somewhere with a drain for rainwater (our old D was like that) or did the last 5+ months of rainwater get channeled right into the cylinder head?
I'm setting my price figuring on a bad engine and leaving it there. I'm just wondering if there's a chance it could be ok. As of a month ago the oil on the dipstick was good, not milky.
