Still haven't had time to split the diesel 3010 to repair the PTO. Found a mechanic to do it for a reasonable price. He said I need a gasket for between the clutch and transmission split. I can't find one is there one,and do you know the part number, any other parts that are needed?

Gasket between clutch housing and transmission is # R31305.
 

To repair pto shift pin one will also need gasket & seal for frt pto brg housing. AA2296R seal, R27048 gasket.

Have you considered changing pto to 540 rpm only eliminating the 1000 rpm speed?
 
Thanks for the numbers. I have thought of 540 only but have not been inside one to see how it goes. On guy told me he welded his to make it 540 only.
 

I just removed 1000 rpm drive gear then added a bushing with shim washers with the correct inside diameter to take up space. I also substituted larger bolts with locking nuts as substitute for tiny pins. I'd be hesitant to trust a weld on drive shaft.
 
I will see if this mechanic has done it before. I agree I never will have a 1000 PTO on this. I appreciate the info and help with getting my parts for this. This mechanic works on the older tractors so he has done this repair before.
 
I use a "T" shaped lock when I do them.
