Stiff brake pedal

I finally got around to tearing it apart. Everything seems to be in good shape, except the pedal itself seems to be rusted or gummed up and won't move freely. I just need to take the pedal off and clean up the area where it pivots. To do that I will need to remove the cam (the part I indicated in James's photo). Does this just slide or drive out? I'm just getting started on this and don't want to wreck anything.
(My tractor is an A by the way. It's slightly different than this photo, but the part I'm asking about is the same).

Yes it "should " slide out,, be careful with the 2 pins that I pointed out in yellow, if they are stuck the first thing you will want to do is try to twist them loose with a pry bar and it will break them,,they are pricey,, so soak them a bit and punch at them from the pointed end.

Gibbs Penetrating Oil, and a little heat, and tapping loosened these on my '50 B.
PTO = patience, tap, oil!

Got 'er done this afternoon. The two pieces circled in yellow-- one fell out on it's own and the other one was loose and came out very easily. The cam with the red arrow also came right out. Getting the pedal off the other end of that bolt took a little longer, but eventually it gave in.
Got everything cleaned and polished up and put back together, and it works like a new one! Now just need to bolt it back on the tractor. But before I do that I need to round up a different gear for the end of the shaft. This one has a chunk missing out of one tooth. It's probably been that way for years, but might as well replace it as long as it's apart. I got my guy rounding one up for me.

Thanks for the help!
