I was chopping stalks with my 4440 and all of a sudden the PTO shut off, hyd light came on and it coasted to a stop. Its a quad range with 4600 hours. Discovered it will operate as it should when in 2 or 4 gear in any range but when shifted to 1 or 3 motion and hydraulic pressure ceases. So what am I looking at? Assuming the quad pack or related seals. Probably a bad idea to run it in 2 or 4? About 45 acres left to chop.
