I drained out the oil in the hydraulic system in my 620. The book calls for 30 wt or 10w-30. Can you run hygard in the system or will that ruin something. All my implements that I share with other tractors are all hygard so it will eventually get mixed. I would appreciate your thoughts and expertise on this. thanks

hy Tran is 20 w oil but works fine probably a lot better than a 30 w oil in the 50 s

Hy Tran is too thin for those old two bangers unless you are using the hydraulics in the winter. The tolerances never were very tight when they were new. Now 50-60 years or more later I can't imagine them being at factory specs anymore. Hy Tran won't hurt anything, you just won't get full pressure when it's good and warmed up.
