3 bottom plow

I got a 3 bottom John Deere plow i think it is a 444 but I am not sure
I was wondering what style of tires would it originally have?

The JD parts book shows a 15" wheel for a 5.90x15 rib implement tire, or from 1961 on, a 14" wheel, but no size shown but probably equivalent to the 15". Never heard of a 5.90X15 but I would think a 6.70X15 would be appropriate. The furrow and land wheel are the same, with the same size tire.

they used the 590x15 on both wheels if it is a hyd lift on the ground lift 640x15 was the correct size it would have rear tractor type tread and put on backwards so the tire can grip the ground. the correct size necessary as that is what it was made for you can still get them as i got two new ones last winter

A 444 is a 2 bottom plow with trip standards. You might have a 555 plow. Does it have disk wheels or spoke wheels?

5:90 very popular with 6:40 next then 6:70 and all used on machinery. 5:90 was factory on the John Deere flail chopper on both sides and on right side of the Case 555 mower-conditioner. If I remember correctly same on the IHC 46 baler.
