955 John Deere 1990

Can anyone give me thoughts on a 955? Are they any good? The back PTO does not work on the one I am looking at? Is there a clutch pack in there? What would a 1990 be worth? Looks rough. Thanks

I've had my 955 with a 70A loader for 12 years. Have used it a bunch and every time I use it I'm impressed with what it will do. It has been trouble free. I take very good care of it maintenance wise. A friend bought it new and I ran it then--I told him when ever he wanted to sell it call me and he did. I paid him $12,000 for it then and I think they are still pretty pricey still. I also have a 790 which is very good as well.
