Jan/Feb, 1998, 2 Cyl Magazine featured a front cover picture of Sindt Implement in Keystone, Iowa. The article mentioned that they planned to start a museum in their old John Deere dealership building after they built a new one. It said they had accumulated 260 old John Deeres which I suppose they were going to place in the museum. Does anyone know if that happened?

I looked at a satellite view of Keystone and see no mention of Sindt Implement or a museum.

I met that guy at Rantual 6 years ago I have his contact info if you want it..Darrel Sindt his son is Derrick, and John

Sindt bought Lisbon JD store and then merged/bought some other stores. They all became what is the P&K group of stores. There is not a JD store in Keystone anymore IRC.

Mount Vernon and Lisbon are basically same town, should be one, but councils do not want to give up power.

P&K is in Keystone. Did some business there yesterday. Darrell Sindt has a small shop east of P&K across the street. The museum is 1 block north and 2 or 3 blocks east of P&K. Darrell and his boys can help with ANY John Deere problem you may have. Very respected and straight forward man. He helped me fix my water pump on my 1956 JD 80. I live 15 miles east of Keystone.
