John Deere G head thickness and M&W piston dimensions?

Does someone know the thickness of a styled G head? (F551R)

Also, what is the distance from the center of the wrist pin to the top of an M&W high compression piston? (.125" over)

My dad had the head decked around 20 years ago and can't remember by how much. I just measured the head and it is 5.56" from the valve cover surface to the block surface. I want to have the block bored and put these pistons in this winter and I'm trying to see if I'll have valve clearance issues before I get too carried away.

Any help is appreciated.

unless you have a set of m&w pistons for that g you may never get one as M&w does not make anything any more.the new pistons you get now do not have as tall of head on them
 

Anybody on the original head thickness?? Also, this is measured from one gasket surface to another correct?
