Trying to loose some weight on my 51G for pulling, can I change out radiator to something aftermarket and lighter?

There are companies that make aluminum radiators
to spec.

Years ago we ran one with 4" exhaust pipe and some fins welded to it..did away with the radiator completely. An old timer told me once if you want to loose 50 lbs. look for 10 things that weigh 5 lbs. every little bit adds up...

It's always possible, but a real challenge when you see how mush other stuff is mounted on that radiator housing
