gorilla glue follow up

Awhile back there was posting to the effect that numbered model 2 cylinder clutch facings were successfully bonded to the discs with Gorilla Glue. If that party is still on the forum, how did that work out in
the long run?

Thanks!

Wouldn't recommend this in any form....you'll have a run away tractor as soon as clutch binds....I think years ago there was a process they used to cement brake pads....

I would not recommend using that type of glue in that service, they make adhesives for bonding frictions to metal, but most require a heat cure and a certain amount of uniform pressure to get an acceptable bond. And the solvents that are used in them I would not recommend using your kitchen stove to cure them either.
