adjusting shift linkage quad range

How do I adjust the linkage on the shift levers on my 4030 quadrange? Also the two speed the lever moves to the left a long ways before it will shift just seems like they all need a good adjusting. It has the 4 post canopy on it and I was wondering about the bushings on top of the axle to cab how can I tell if they are worn out and need replacing? Thanks

Most of the time if the shifter gets out of wack with the quadrant plate it's because the cab/platform has settled or moved,,the other times when it "seems" like it needs adjusted the sychronizer is bad. But to adjust it you find the "happy" spot on the shift position to the guide plate in the cab and adjust the linkage rod till the shifter sets in the plate nicely in the correct place. It is hard to explain, but for instance if the range lever is in "D" position and id needs to go a bit more to set in the cradle of the plate, and when it in "A" position and it needs to go forward a bit to rest in the cradle the rod would need adjusted to make that all work out,,normally when it fits nice in A and D the B&C is correct also,, same with the other shifter, and same idea with a sychro range.
