A fun Saturday. 4010lp follow up.

I have been working on my 4010lp as it needed new shutoff valves and a few small things. With the help of Rick, John and this great forum it is running again. A body man did a little work on the nose of the hood while it was off and even though not repainted we waxed it which made the rest of the tractor look bad. It runs very well and I am thankful for the help I have received. Everything works even the cigarette lighter. I am not a huge fan of the cab but it keeps the cockpit and seat in great shape.

Now I need Rick to help me figure out Nebraska Football.

so glad that I and John Brawner could get you going again. Tractor looks great and please call if we can help you again. Thank you.

Friend had a 4010 with the same cab on it, better than nothing and your looks a lot better than my friends.

Looks great. I have a 4010D and love her!

So educate me....how long will that tractor run on a tank of LP (say doing moderate field work)? And how do you refill the tank? I've never had the chance to use an LP tractor and wondering how you go about filling it in the field, etc. Sorry if it's silly question.

We had a 60LP and a 730Lp. We cobbled together a trailer with a 200 gal tank with the fill hose.
No pump needed, just hook up the fill hose to the tank, open the valve and vapor relief and wait and wait and wait until the tractor tank was full (85%).

Hope that helps.

Larry

Thanks.....so basically you used the pressure from the 200 Gallon tank to fill the tractor tank hence no pump.

Appreciate the education!
