John Deere H flywheel timing marks

Are the three in line dots across the flywheel the timing marks that are supposed to line up with the mark on the transmission? Thanks,

Mine has one dot at the outer edge of the rim. It looks like a punch mark so yours could have three, or a PO could have added some to make it easier to find.

The timing mark is on the outer face of the flywheel
not around the outside if those are the ones you are
talking about.
