JD 620 Disk size

Hello,
What size disk will a JD 620 be fine with in the BWA and 115 models for a mix of a clay sand soil? Mostly wheat stubble and sometimes soybean stubble with it being plowed about every other year? Thanks!

14' at the very max depending on the weight
of the disk. We pulled a lightweight
Deere RW14' with 18" blades with a 630 just
fine here in Iowa soils. Disking plowing we
had to carry the disk a little or the
tractor wouldn't pull it but it was already
plowed so we didn't need to plow it again
with the disk and we were in third gear.
The 630 played with it in fourth gear in
heavy corn stalks where the disk couldn't
penetrate the stalks. A 14 foot heavy disk
in light trash would be too much if it was
allowed to go all the way in.

Need a set of Duals for your 620??

I have a set, tread is like new on both, but one is badly weather checked... 15.5x38"

Going Cheap, if ya want them..

Central Ohio..

I also pulled a 14' disc with a 630,
this is heavy irrigated dirt in
Colorado. It didn't like the first
passes the seconds were better. With
14.9 tires. Wish I was closer to Ohio
I would be looking at the 15.5 tires
brush hog has.
