HELP ME FIND A JOHN DEERE

Hello,

My name is Marshall Thompson. I know this may be a shot in the dark, but I am looking for a tractor that once belonged to my grandfather. It was sold when he passed 15 years ago, and I believe it is still somewhere in North Carolina. It is a 1938 John Deere model B, serial number 57136. If anyone in NC has a lead to where it may be, or you own the tractor, please contact me on here, I would love to chat with you about it. I have attached some pictures of the tractor here below:

Try attending shows in you state or general area might be your best results. If sold at an auction check with the auctioneer company and they may have a listing on file. Good luck.
 

Eastern or Western NC?

North Carolina State Fair starts Thursday, I know they have an antique tractor tent with a lot of stuff. Not sure if they'll have something that old, last year the John Deere tent didn't go below a 2010 I think, but you may get lucky. Also try the Got to be NC festival in the Spring. I'm told they have a pretty big tractor show. Could be there.

I know the daughter of the guy who runs the State Fair tractor stuff, I'll try and see if they've got any B's this year.
 
Do a google search for 1938 john deere b 57136.

Results on tractor shed show both the tractors in your photo along with some names.

Maybe they were posted by your family or maybe the current owner?
