Lift levers on touch o matic

I have a 1950 MT. When moving levers on touch o matic up n down there's no pressure and drawbar doesn't move up or down. Any ideas on why this is? Thank you

First check to make sure the system has enough oil to operate.

Open the oil level cock.

If oil drips/runs out, then the oil level is OK.

If no oil drips/runs out, then "[i:654c4848f0]add S.A.E. 10-W oil at filler opening until it runs out of oil level cock[/i:654c4848f0]."

Take a look at the photo below of the filler opening.

Hope this helps.

Where the drawbar rides on the rear housing on both sides there are two locking mechanisms with big knobs. Make sure the drawbar isn't locked. You could also put bolts into the drawbar to keep it in place if it need to be in a position that wasn't part of the 3 locking holes.

Ditto what James posted on the fluid if there is no pressure in the system. Pump could also need a rebuild or something could be broken if the system was previously overloaded in the pump. Kinda of unlikely but possible.

If it is a Dual Touch-o-matic there is a selector leaver under the seat and a pin on the lift arms. all of which have to be in the correct position for proper operation. The best way to check this all out is to follow the instruction in the Service Manual SM2013
It is to involved to print here but if you need it e-mail should be open.
