6030 pump timing

hello, fellow deere folks, i had a 6030 engine sitting on shop floor, bought as is,, no run.. it would not start but cranked a LOTT OF SMOKE, so i tried slow feed of ether for about 20 seconds and it would BARELY RUN with a LOT of smoke. the flywheel had NO TIMING marks except 240" i took out # 1 injector to find TDC, AND MARK the flywheel. i found the pump was timed for TDC. the correct timing is 27" BTDC. SO,, i got it running on its own,, BUT i'm not sure i figured quite right on the measurement before TDC to make the 27" mark. the engine was put into a 7520,, so i cannot measure the diameter or circumference to rethink my calculation. ANYBODY HAVE THE MEASUREMENT before TDC. in inches on the flywheel circumference?? THANKS

crankshaft pulley has TDC mark and 27* mark and the timing cover has a notch. If memory serves .
