567 Low Voltage When Wrapping

I've been having my battery low voltage light come on my monitor and give me trouble when wrapping. I have monitor wired directly to battery, but it still goes through a plug and into wiring harnessing from my alternator. I've read about hooking directly to battery, and I assume this is what I have. If I cut my a/c off before it starts to wrap I have no problems. Alternator belts are tight and I don't think they are slipping. What kind of amperage should I be getting from my alternator and how can I check with clamp on meter...or where should I check with meter? Thanks!

On page 70-21 in my 467/567 operators manual it explains how to check current draw of net actuator utilizing channel 14 on monitor. I would suggest to remove electrical wiring bulkhead on your tractor on RH side behind engine & check for corrosion. Are back of fan belts even or below pulley sheaves?

You don't say what tractor you are using but I have had the factory power outlet on a Waterloo built tractor give similar
symptoms. In that case I installed a new outlet on the front side of the cab with 10 ga wire, a circuit breaker and about
4 ft of wire directly to the battery.

I don't know how I typed wiring harness from my alternator above, but I meant plug from monitor for power goes into wiring harness for monitor. I will see about checking amp draw of actuator and also bulkhead connection. Thanks for the tips!

Factory accessory outlet on my 6420 caused same problem with my 457 when it was tying. 10 gauge wires from the battery with a 30 amp fuse solved the problem.

Possibly if you are running a 2 battery tractor with only 1 battery,or an undersized battery, it may not have enough reserve to
carry the monitor along with all the other voltage draw from the a/c and other circuits.which would explain why it will tie with
the a/c off

Checked my amp output of alternator and found loose connection in crimp on lead from battery. Repaired and seemed to work good today. Thanks for the info!
