I am having no success removing two exhaust bolt stubs from the head on my 50 (manifold replacement is always such a joy on a 63 year old machine). They're REALLY stuck in there as I detailed in the other thread. At this point it's only a little more work to pull the head and have the guides/seats done while it's off!
The service manual shows ten lead washers under the nuts (p/n B369R). They can still be had for around a buck each. Is there a more modern replacement (copper or aluminum, perhaps)? Or should I go with the exact replacements?
thanks
Charles
