1948 Joun Deere A

I have a 1948 John Deere A smoking pretty bad, grey smoke
I bought the tractor a couple years ago and it hadnt ran in a while. It is running great just smoking. Any ideas to help quit it smoking? Marvel mystery oil down the cylinder? And let it sit? Jut trying to avoid rebuilding the motor.

Try taking it out to plow the back forty and run it wide open. Ron Mn

Even rebuilding may not fix the smoke if you won't put her to [b:654c4848f0] HARD work[/b:654c4848f0] for half a day at the least. After that her smoke will mean something to go by.

Ya I was thinking about that...tractor show this weekend..
I will def do some plowing there.
