820 3 cylinder diesel

Been sitting in shed for approx 8 years, what should I do to try to get it running, my first diesel tractor

but he may not be that far off. Stout little chore tractor.
all the usual considerations would be wise.
Fresh fuel/ appropriate fluids, spark, check airstack for congestion, prayer.

My guess is if fuel that's in isn't bio-diesel engine will start utilizing old fuel. As previously stated check level of other fluids,install good battery. Check to be sure no air is in fuel line from tank to IP. IIRC one pushes "key in" to energize fuel solenoid in IP. When new those 820 3 cyl's rarely came back for warranty repairs.
