Why does it have independent Left and Right mechanical lift? I mean it has two separate small seedboxes and a single common large box. Is the large box for fertilizer? I just don't understand why it has two gangs? One side works. The other side has a broken flat chain, so it will not roll up into transport position at the moment. I see no reason it won't after I install a working chain. The tires are blown out. What type of tires should I replace it with? Here is a link if you scroll down the items and find the jd press wheel drill(has the two tires in front).
I also notice that the left and right gangs have their openers going opposite directions. The right side has four missing flutes(the cast iron drop that the flex tubes go into, and which also has the scraper). Also has one broken center on one of the rollers. Other than that it "looks" good to go barring I put two new tires on it and install a new flat chain. I would like advice on this drill, like explanation of why it has independent Left Hand, Right Hand lifts. It is complete, except those four broken flute scrapers. Where to buy or find those?
