dis-assembled seat shock & spring. dealer gave me wrong spring. old one is ok & useable. correct shock. parts section 5f18. service manual has nothing. dealer
said maybe avail on micro-fiche. has never called back. how do i compress & rotate ? bench vice too small. 15 ton hydraulic press can do but dangerous & hard to
rotate. also, parts diagram shows one pin but uses two rubber washers. nothing in top ? is that correct ?

I made a tool for that and use the press,, I will try to post a pic after bit.

Before you get to far, try and spin that end washer on the shock without the spring. Seems like the last ones I did, I had to grind a little off of washer to get it to spin into place.
