My pony will run with some carb cleaner through the intake only. I pulled the carb and it wasn't that bad inside. The fuel inlet is not allowing gas to fill the carb. It looks like a diaphragm is attached to the shutoff valve. It also has a copper line that looks like it's going to the pony motor like an oil pressure line. It also has what looks like an oil pressure sender on it.
Does this require oil pressure from the pony to allow gas in the carb bowl? It has a button of sorts in the center of the diaphragm, pushing it in and holding doesn't allow gas to flow. Is this something I can rebuild or do I need to look for a new one?
