JD 530 tranny flush

I'm in the process of changing my tranny oil w/ straight 140w oil. Book says to jack up one wheel, put in low gear and run a few minutes with 3 gallons of flushing agent and drain. I blocked the tractor up under the drawbar right side elevating the right tire. Is this the best way to flush out the tranny and what "Flushing agent" should I use?

I did a G this spring. Drained it, ran it full of diesel, drove it around about 15 minutes, and drained. Right or wrong, it's what I did.

Drain about 4 gal out of it fill it back up with diesel and drive it for about 10-15 minute's. Drain well and refill. My 2 cents
