John Deere 158 Loader Question

Welcome to YT
To make a JD 158 loader mechanically self leveling would require a lot of fabrication of linkages & pivot points. One could possibly install a self leveling hyd control valve or with practice utilize a joystick valve to level bucket as one raises the boom.

I had a JD440 crawler with a self leveling loader and I hated it.
When lifting and maneuvering things around the leveling feature would mess up your lift height and also bind up the bucket tilting when it got over to far. Hard to explain but I could demonstrate. I have a 158 loader now and it is one of the most versatile loaders around. Good lift height. Good long reach. I used it countless times where being able to hold the bucket angle where I wanted it at was a must have.
