Yes I use the new style bushing with the O-ring and the OEM outer seals,,the more the better. Be sure you shim the side to side play out of the A-frame, the extra play is one of the things that lead to seal failure.
 
some of the tractors around here have worn out or odd shaped bores from age and use and won't hold a JD seals for very long, i now use poly seals that i get at my JD dealer, i use JD bushings. the poly seal will take the shape of the bore and last along time. there is no rubber parts to crack or brake with poly parts. stay with the parts that work for you and you will be happy.
