520 platform removal

What procedure do you use to remove the platform? Does it need to have the battery box removed first? Want to get the platform off so I can replace the battery cable to the starter.

Seems that no matter which way the platform is moved, it is bumping something to prevent removal without taking a lot of other items out of the way.

Seat and battery box off, is the only way I have been able to do it. It hits PTO lever, or brake petals, or battery box, otherwise.

I don't remember having to remove the platform to change the battery cable.

I have change a few cables out and never removed the platform only rough part is getting the cable secure behind the flywheel. Try shaping/bending the cable this will help it laid in place.

from my experience the back would hit the hydraulic lines. I would remove the battery box....
