I have a question I'm embarrassed to ask. I changed the transmission lube in my 1945 early styled "B" today. I removed the plug in the center of the transmission and the lube drained out. Then I removed the other plug that is kinda off to the side and all that came out was a couple drops of water. Real clear like condensation. I expected that more transmission lube would come out. What is the purpose of this plug and what should have come out of the hole?

That is a plug for where they drilled the hole for the pto shift lever.
There is a LARGER plug back farther maybe sort of hidden by the drawbar that will drain the rear portion of the trans. case. Make sure you drain it too at the same time.

Thanks for the info. I was just concerned when I removed the pipe plug and no oil came out. I wanted to be sure nothing was running dry.
