Okay guys, I really don't think this is going to be too hard, however, please give me some guidance on rebuilding my distributor on my Delco Remy on my John Deere 60. What do I have to do to take it apart and what do I have to do to rebuild it? Thanks ahead of time for all the comments.

I see you have the nut off. put the nut back on far enough so you don't ding up the dist. shaft and get a small puller & pull it off. It has a key. But you need to take out the 3 screws that holds the breaker plate & cap clips in. That will expose the weights & springs. When you get the drive pulled off the shaft comes out the top. Call me if you need help. I am in ILLINOIS, central time. Where do you live ? I could call you. Earl

Okay Earl, thanks. I'm in central time also. Missouri. It will probably be a day or so until I get to it. Thanks. If you wanna message me your number I'd appreciate it. Can a person reuse the weights and springs inside? and just replace the bearings/seals etc?
