Just got my first 2 cylinder tractor.Hand start ? the tractor has a small radiator cap instead of the larger one I have seen on other Bs the hood has the smaller hole to .Nothing has been butcherd.So what is the deal with this one.

War era model. Brass was rationed so they used steel fins for cooling which do not cool as well so they added a pressure cap to raise the boiling point. If it still has the original rad. core the fins will be steel and rusted away if your in Ohio or other northern states.
