I'm overhauling my 466th motor right now for a 4430 and have a question about the camshaft gear. I'm installing a new cam shaft and lifter set. The shop that did the machine work on this motor said I should also update the cam gear b/c it is a 2 piece and they had one slip once. I called JD and priced a new one and the parts guy said they don't know if the new one is a 1 piece? The marks on my cam gear are still inline. Has anyone saw one slip before? would the new gear be a 1 piece? Thank you
