Hi All - I need a considered opinion from the brain trust. Load shaft seals were starting to drip, got new seals and bushings, why not, the tractor is 6 mos new to me, 5500 hours. Got a new trans filter while I'm at it. Drop the filter and on top of it and in it, is a chewed up gasket, rubber not brake pad. A big piece matches the outside diameter of the filter, like the seal ring for a motor oil filter, but parts diagram from Mother Deere shows there isn't one. I'v had zero hydraulic issues, no whine, chatter, catch in motion, sticking in range, nothing. Previous owner had full service records, it was his baby. Can't let it go, it'll make me crazy (er). Incidentally in this process I've had a chance to experience the differences in German vs Japanese engineering ( I have a 950 as well) and by the time I'm done I'll be up to a really good rant about Mannheim green Thanks
