2755 idle lope

My 2755-new to me-with 4800 hours has a mild lope at idle. Is that normal? Do I need to have the injectors rebuilt after so many hours?

I'd suggest to advance timing on inj pump a degree or 2

I would check for an air leak on Diesel suction.

Any Diesel dripping?

What injection pump does it have? Some makes/models have a low idle surge, and some may be helped IF the idle speed is too low. Dad has a MF 180 that's surged since new. Some Oliver models have a low idle surge too, but get them above 900 and it stops, at least my Oliver forklift does.
