6081 water pump removal

4010 puller

Hi guys tearing down a used 6081 engine to rebuild and had a couple questions. Took front gear cover off engine, water pump is in cover, looks like impeller is going to need pulled off before removing snap ring to remove pump. Looks like impeller puller tool is 400 bucks, any other way to remove it without this tool for one time use?

I've also been studying the jd head bolt situation, looks like there are several sets of head bolts for 466,7.6,8.1. Some have said the bolts can be reused some say replace. My bolts are marked special. Should I reuse them and should I put this style back in?

Thanks

According to the book, there is a snap ring you grab with needle nose pliers and with another set of pliers you wiggle it out. The new pump should come with a tool that lets you push on the bearing housing instead of the impeller when reinstalling.

I have no experience with those bolts, but I know they are torque to yield and should not be reused.

What application is this in and what HP rating?

Came out of a 9610 combine I believe 275 horse. I
got water pump out no big deal other than a third or
fourth hand would have been nice to pull on water
pump while I held pliers on snap ring
