John Deere 40 wiring for 12 volt system

I have a JD40 and all the wiring is gone and I need help with the wiring from the switch to the front. Can anyone help me?

Look up Harness to find your various harnesses and other electricals in the same area of the PDF. Sorry a better all inclusive wiring diagram that stands alone was never produced by mother deere or if it was, we can't easily find it for free.

Take a look at the photo below of the five ignition switch terminals.

Take a look at the photo below of the panel wiring on ?Audie? our Model 40S..

Note that only 3 terminals are used because ?Audie? does not have flood lights or tail lights.

Note the RED wire from the ammeter to the BAT terminal on the ignition switch.

This provides the current/power forward.

Take a look at the photos below of ?BW? our Model 40T.

Note the BLUE wire from the IGN. terminal on the ignition switch to the resistor, coil, and distributor.
