I have a 6510E john Deere. The lift and the loader stop working today.. I think that I found where to put the hydraulic oil in but it has no dip stick. How do I tell when it is full.

Upon viewing JDparts.com there appears there's no model 6510E. Have you looked in your tractor operator's manual for the hyd full indicator?

It should be a 5065E. My operator's manual shows a dipstick in the fill port, but when I removed the fill cap I found that mine doesn't have the dipstick. Can't find where to check to see if full.

Mine doesn't have the dipstick at that location, just the top part which is a plug and cover.
