Does anyone used a torx plus 45 to remove cam screw on db pump.i know some poeple grind a torx 45 to fit.torx plus look simliar to spline bit.bristol bit

If you are going to play IP mechanic, do yourself a favor and get the correct Stanadyne tools. Should be able to find them reasonably on the 'net.

Besides having the correct "bit" having the "support bushing" will often save some heartache.

Thanks Bob. I know most bits of this type are typically using 1/4 inch socket instead of the 5/16 as in the stanadyne offering. For that and other reasons I would go only with proper tools for this operation.
