Dltx 51 nozzle

I have a 51 on a Jd A, the factory nozzle # is a R10126 do all of them have the little tube made on the side of nozzle and what is its purpose mines doesn't have it. Tractor runs and pulls good but at lower idle if I "dump" the clutch it dies, bump the throttle up some and its fine, could that be because of the tube missing thanks

If I recall correctly from the Robert's video the #51 needs the side tube on the nozzle. This plays a role in the operation of the acceleration well and could be the source of your issues. The #51 is a G carb to by the way.

Roberts has new nozzels for a 51 but they aint cheap there around 45 dollars or more the last time I was looking through their catalog.

ok thanks here's the question though should I buy the nozzle for the dltx 51which is a G carb or buy the nozzle for the A and put it in the 51

The #51 is designed to have that nozzle and for reasons related to size, air flow and vacuum another one would not work properly.
